I'm thinking of purchasing this amp from David on ebay but would like to hear from other buyers? I've read the review on this site but was hoping for some more feedback from other users.

Is it worth the price difference from the LD2++ ??? (About $50)??

Well this amp is still rather new, so they are still being burned in. Mine is at the 30hour mark. So far really impressive!!! No more of the heat issues like the LD2+,++. The body uses the gap where the tubes are plugged to vent I assume (can touch the body). What I love is the soundstage: wide with perfect placement. Bad thing is now I got two category for my cds. One for top notch mastering and one for the ***** (this amp will revel this in combo with my HD580 cans). You will need a good source!!!!

Plus there is the tube rolling option if you want to play around a bit.
Give it a few more months an see how they stack up!! David gave me the tip to give it a couple of week for the tubes to settle and develop its sound. Really think the MK range is what they wanted from the start. YES its worth it (better quality+ component used). Look foward not backward!!!
