Any experience with B&O A8's?

I saw these on the duty free catalogue for only $139usd on the plane on the way to Korea. They look nice but I couldn't fathom spending that much on headphones I've never used/heard about. Anyone care to share their experience with these, maybe even what sound signature it sounds most similar to?

On a side note, I discovered that the futuresonic factory is located in korea, so I was able to try them out in an electronics boutique shop here, and i was so blown away by how awesome the atrio m8's sound. I might just get them especially since they cost about $160usd equivalent.

I owned a pair for a while. They are very VERY pretty, and very VERY well made, but they are a fair chunk of change, and the sound doesn't nessecarily reflect the price.

However, as long as you can justify spending on the style/brand rather than purely on the sound quality, you might be happy.

If you do get them, search out Duggeh's description of how to wear them properly, for the best sound quality.

hmm i own a pair of er6i's, and after reading your review, they must sound pretty similar to them. I was hoping for er6i's with improved bass attack/response.

sigh kinda wish i hadn't sold my pk3's.
