Any CRT-Monitor Experts Here?

Just received a new 17" CRT Viewsonics to be used in my dual monitor system. Powered up fine, but there are these continuous wisps of red, green, and blue along the bottom 1/2 of the screen that are discoloring everything. I tried two different graphic cards with the new monitor, still the same. I also degaussed, changed resolutions/refresh rates, and rebooted a few time. My other two monitors are fine, which leads me to believe this is defective. However, before I go through the RMA process with NewEgg, I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Unshielded speakers too close to this monitor as opposed to the other one? Only thought I'd have.....
