Please recommend some closed circumaural headphones
to fit my ears having the size of 68 x 40 x 22 mm.

Ideally, the earpad opening should be large enough to fit
the entire ear inside, but non-ideal solutions will be considered, too.

Well, I have old (oldest ?) DT770 Pro, but the inner diameter
of "soft skin" earpads goes down to only 56 mm. This means
that my ear must be "compressed" by some 12 mm and I'd
like to have a bit more space.

Velour pads for DT770 seem to have the same size as "soft skin" ones,
but from pictures I've seen, it may well be that leather
and especially gel pads have bigger inner diameters.

Could somebody with DT770 leather or gel earpads check the inner diameter, please?

If cost is no object then the rectangular stax would fit 60mm in the long direction no worries. So SR-4070? They are closed. But cost, and you must factor in the amp price too.
My ears are probably less "deep" (the 22mm measurement you have) and my ears touch the inside face of similar headphones, but are not compressed.

dt770 are circular so it may suggest oval-shaped is better for you?
Maybe someone can chime in about Sennheiser's offerings as they tend to be oval-shaped inside.

Sorry. I have big ears and they had plenty of room for me so I just assumed that it'd be enough. Now I'm curious...do you have a photo?

I measured the Stax 4070' earpads, and they are a no-fit for the OP.
"Just" 75 x 35 x 17mm (or so).

Plenty of space for my ears, but probably not for one with big ears.

I would say a700s. They're huge.

Thank you very much for taking the measurements.

Height is really plentiful at 75 mm, and width of 35 mm might be tolerable,
but depth of 17 mm is likely to induce substantial pressure
and pain after prolonged use (24 h or more).

I've seen pictures and they are really big on the outside,
Estimated outer diameter is ~115 mm, about 10 mm
more than DT770.

But how's the inside space on A500/A700/A900???

I have big ears too. The earpads of my BeyerDynamic DT150 are surrounding them completely. Those pads are huge.

Great!

I have DT109 here (DT100 + mic) and the opening on
the velour pads is 69 x 36 mm, which is probably the same
as on DT150. The depth of DT109 pads is insufficient,
but DT150 might be better.

Tiemen, could you, please, measure the inside dimensions
of DT150 earpads, their depth in particular?

The DT100 pads are more shallow. I know that, because I bought the DT100 velour pads for my DT150. They fit, but I liked the sound with the stock (soft PVC) pads better.
The depth of the DT150 pads is 25 mm.
Ther other dimensions are 80 by 45 mm.
