I commute to work every day. It's a trip that consists of 15 minutes of biking (on a bicycle that is), 30 minutes by train, and 15 minutes of walking.

Current phones (see sig) have their disadvantages:

EP-630 are really wonderfull in the train, but the noise created by microphonics through the wire is deafening when i'm not totally immobile. They're rather dangerous on the bike as well, as all traffic noises are muted.

PX100 are very comfy, and i like their sound a lot. They require a silent environment though to fully enjoy their sound, if you ask me, and although they're foldable, they just aren't as portable as i would wish.

So the plan: go back to buds, to get the best portability, get rid of microphonics and sacrifice the least possible in sound quality. Are the MX400 my best bet, or are there others to consider?

I've had several pairs of MX300, MX500 and now a pair of Yuin PK-3.

I'd say go for the PK-3 - they seem more durable than the sennheisers, which all broke on me in less than a year. Also sound is improved.

Thanks for all the fast responses. Yuin sounds promising. Anyone know where to get them in Holland (or an online shop that ships to the Netherlands)? Any more comments on PK2 vs PK3? (I'll be using them unamped, so no PK1 for me)

Don't like the clip-on design, so KSC75 aren't an option for me.

I just upgrade my MX500 to YUIN PK1.
It's totally a brand new level... so breathtaking :O
I'll definitely recommend Yuin...
Go to PK2 or PK3 if you don't have any amp or not planning to.

The Koss also stays on better when I'm jumping off cliffs and stuff.

PK2 or 3 it'll be (there still is a significant price difference, so leaning towards the 3 for now)

I live in Holland, it's all flat here. (And if i want to look like a dork, the px100 will suffice in my case

x2. More people need to find the Yuins. No comparison with comparably priced portable phones.
