Any anime series that you've been enjoying?

high school of the dead is simply the best anime ever since nice boat, oops, sorry, since school days. If it releases blu-ray i will definately buy that. i think fanservice is just a 'fan service'. only to entertain. the most important thing what we should be looking at is the reality of human darkness;the twisted relationship between or among friends.

this is an awsome anime!

High School of the Dead and Occult Academy are also on the top of my watch list. :) They're just the most entertaining so far. Mitsudomoe is also pretty funny.

I don't know about now-a-days, but Funimation used to have the most aggressive stance toward fansubs. They would send out cease and desist letters left and right and threaten with legal action. I don't see how fansubs would hurt domestic sales if people don't even know about the series in the first place and don't have a chance to try them out. From then on, I try not to endorse anything Funimation. Not to mention their dubs and subtitles were of horrible quality. What are the reviews of them now?

it appears that at first their anime releases on blu ray were pretty shoddy, but since they have come along way, even to the point of earning extremely solid reviews for evangelion 1.11, which had amazing video and audio, High def digest just reviewed Ouran high School host club, and said it was pretty great.

There are some good ones these years, but imo they are not even close to the great ones in 90s, such as EVA, Noir and Cowboy Bebop

Your list reads just like my cart.... :p

haha and quiet a few of those are blind buys, bth gunslinger girls are blind, but i really liked Noir, which i own already, so i figure i should like it. ouran is a blind buy, based purely on that review, and i like trying things that are different from my norm. also Rin~ is a blind buy, a couple people mentioned it in this thread, and i read some other reviews looks pretty interesting.

And obviously i had to buy FMA Brotherhood volume 2....

Edit: but honestly for the prices, why not buy some blind, gunslinger girl is like 20 bucks?!?!

Just finished FMA: Brotherhood, Toradora!, and Angel Beats. Can't say Angel Beats was great, but I did like it. I don't think I've seen anything else by Key, so I can't really comment on what most people were comparing it to. Brotherhood was hands down amazing; no need to say much more. Toradora was also great. It fell under the category of "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts", since while most of it was barely above average, it worked together just so bloody well.
