wow. double album, no less.

Well for me it's quite simply to see it like that. I do not even consider it as separate songs but as one. When I start to listen the Wall I can not stop.

x2 although I would have to change it to I like every song from Atom Heart Mother to WYWH, except for Obscured by Clouds (which I've never heard).

Problem is I don't think of Pink Floyd as a "song" band. I don't reach for Pink Floyd because I want to hear "San Tropez". I reach for Pink Floyd because I want to hear "Meddle".

One album that comes to mind where I love every song is Widespread Panic - Everyday.

Grateful Dead - From the Mars Hotel
Thelonious Monk - Brilliant Corners
Jethro Tull - Aqualung
Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street (and that's a long album)
Television - Marquee Moon
Conrad Herwig - The Latin Side of Wayne Shorter
Arthur Blythe - Lennox Avenue Breakdown
Blind Faith

I think it's partly a reflection of how hard we're thinking. If I gave a little bit more thought, I might have a different, shorter list. It's a hard question, after all.

*ugh*

1. it's Dire Straits

2. Sailing to Philadelphia is a solo album by Mark Knopfler, it's not a Dire Straits project

3. On Every Street... wha.. ????
