Has anyone heard one of the Antique Audio tube amps sold by Audioadvisor? How do they compare with similar-priced offereings from other brands?

I think you mean Antique Sound Labs? Their MG Head OTL III is a very fine tube headphone amp - I sometimes wish I still had mine

Very cool to be able to switch between OTL and transformer coupled.

You can operate the amp with the output transformer in the signal chain, or switched out.

The latter is referred to as OTL, or "Output TransformerLess".

And the benefit is that the transformer-coupled mode will work better with low-impedance headphones, while the OTL mode is available for higher-impedance cans.
