I was set on buying a set of SR80s but was offered a set of used SR225s for $170 Canadian. Used for 50 hours. Not sure if it is worth the extra price.

Going to pair it up with a PA2V2.

Good deal? How much better than SR80 if i'm listening to 192bitrate songs and some between 128-160?

BUY them!

IMO worth the difference. Fuller, clearer, deeper bass and a bit more detail.

Besides, then you will not be wondering about if you should have gotten the 225's all the time or wanting to upgrading later.

And if for some reason you regret it, they usually bring a decent price here on the used equipment forum in fairly short time.

Another vote for the 225's. The archives will show many here think it is the sweet spot as the best value in the Grado line.
