Sorry in advance, but you didn't have to click this thread :p

I've narrowed down my choice to:

ER-6i Etymotic £89 ($154 US)
Super.fi 3 Studio £99 ($172 US)
Shure e3c £129 ($224 US)

I'd get the Shure's if there really was a drastic improvment over the other pairs. The Super.fi pair look like they have a better lead/connection to the 'bud', the ER-6i looks a bit flimsy.

Anyway, what is recommended ?
I listen to a wide range of music.

Thanks

edit : oh, these are for use with a Zen Vision M, and isolation/leakage is important as I hate those people who annoy everyone on public transport.

Shure E4 would cost about £146 ($253 US).

I'm in the UK, and I'm just listing the prices that I've found.

They are less than half the price of the ER-6i. I'll look for opinions.

In your list, i'll take the ER6i. But if you're willing to spend £129 for the E3, i'll get the E4 at £146

You can get your 'phones for much less on eBay as well. There are a few reliable sellers.

Regarding the CX 300, I used to own shure e2cs and I prefer the senns over the shures. I know your question was about the e3cs, though this should say something about the sound quality of the senns, especially considering the price.

Electronics are way more expensive in Europe usually. The exchange rate just doesn't seem to work

Somehow I'm now deciding between Shure e4c and Super.fi 5 Pro ...whoops.
