Personally, I think almost everything targeted towards the general mass market consumers looks like turd. Aesthetically, I like minimalistic elegant black matte look for pretty much everything (throw in red, dark green, or navy once in a while). For stuff like speakers though, I prefer the look of nice wood finish.
