    That looks good, but how will the sound quality compare to the E7, my only complate about the E7's sound quality is lack of bass extension.

    I like the style of the volume dial, and the unit in general. I'll comment more later but one thing I would really encourage you to consider implementing is the automatic power up and power down when the amp receives a signal that the Arrow 12HE has.

    I have owned various portable amps (mostly with dacs) but never got into taking them out as portable amps on the go. Too clunky and the having to turn on and off two different devices everytime, for what are realistically very small gains with most portable headphones, did not seem worth the hassle.

    The Arrow has caught my attention because it makes itself worth it with features like bass boost and cross feed and completely removes the inconvenience of the double turn-on/turn-off with the auto on/off feature. It also has an extremely long battery life.

    I wouldn't expect every Arrow feature at a FiiO price point but would really implore you to consider at least the auto on/off one, and you'll have a customer.

    E7 is USB DAC+AMP, E11 is pure amp! so it is design to different usage!

    This looks very cool. Will there be a pre-order deal for this as well?

    The E7 can also be used as a portable amp, what i meant was how does the E7's sound quality as a portable amp compare to the E11.

    E7 is a USB DAC + AMP, and E11 is a pure Amp!  and compare with E7 and E11

    E11 have bigger output power;

    E7 use digital volume control and E11 use analog volume control (Alps  potentionmetal)

    E11's amp is powered by +/- 5V voltage, E7's amp is powered by +/- 3.7V

    Depend on our test, E11 will have better sound quality if you just need a pure amp! and that is why we develop E11 because we found lots of people bought E7 as portable amp but not DAC.

    At the other hand, E7 have more function, and double usage, and accurate volume control, also have far more longer playtime ( 100 hours vs 10 hours )!

    About tubes amp, we have not any plan, and it is hard to arrange mass production for tubes amp, not to talk about it is hard to ship!

    James, I was wondering if Fiio was ever planning on a pure DAC? I'm interested on a higher quality DAC to dock on the E9. My E7 is used as a DAC only, so having just a DAC (better quality) to dock and use with future products would be awesome.

    Sorry, We do have a higher class DAC+AMP, but pure DAC will have smaller market! anyway, it can also be docked into E9 and work as a pure DAC !

    About Tube amps.  Perhaps you can make one just to be like, Ya we can do that too.  Then release the specs and BOM to everyone. [IMG]

    Also, will there maybe be discount/promo packages that include an iPod LOD like the L1 or L3?  Might be a good "freebie" to throw in :p

    Excited for the E11 and very happy to see Fiio developing as a company!!!
