Another limited edition A900

AWESOME HP's. Do I think they're worth $500; hell no, but if I'm looking for a collectors item, I would consider these.

1 pair of ATH-900ltd titanium

or

3 pairs of regular ATH-900

or Denon D5000's

or lots of other options, likely better sounding as well.

clearly shows you on how much fan base does AT have. It's true that you can have better can/s at that price, but I think whenever they release a limited edition ____, it's really for the fans.

The numbers are alot like W5000. This might be a better can than you guys think.

as i a big 'A' series fan, im going to have to pass with it only its 900 designation. Why? because at $300 the a900ltd or a950ltds are a great sounding can for the price. However im not paying the extra price just for Titanium + limited edition status.

I really wish AT would release a new flagship closed can that would would have more bass and fit me better. Then i would gladly return to the company that makes my favorite house sound.

For that much money, I would prefer to get the D5000s. But it would be interesting to see some comparisons between the A900 and the A900Tis.

Yeah... I'm with kool bubba ice in thinking that it's more than just a rebranded A900.

I couldn't agree more, however worth the price of 3 ATH900's? I have my doubts..

They look cool, yes. If I had an "extra" $500, these would be something I would consider.

I also agree with "only500made" as well. I think the LTD HP's are really for someone who is looking to have/own/collect more than one HP.

Thats part of the allure.. I also want a different sound to compliment my SA5000/650/340's.. & I hear the 5000 are similar to the 650's..

Sounds good. If you do end up getting these, please post your impressions/comparions between the SA500's. I would like to move up to the SA5000's some day, however there's tons of HP's out there..
