Hey, sorry to hear that.
A few things I personally love are creative hobbies, I am a musician by trade, but I find me get the same emotional responses from good visual art or written words as I do from music. I would recommend you try

#1
painting or drawing.
If you haven't done it before, I would start with acrylic paints, learn about some basic shape theory and color theory and just make abstract stuff about your feelings... I know that sounds pretty cheesy, but it's probably the best way to start out, you could move on to learning anatomy and perspective and stuff later if you wanted. I have been drawing for years now, if you decide you want to try it, I can give you recommendations on the best (simplest/ most fun) books on the subject.

#2 writing,
I love writing (but I just started a few years ago) I would recommend starting out just writing randomly and maybe trying to imitate your favorite writers, you will suck for a while, but you'll improve.

#Electronics,
You don't have to do artsy fartsy stuff, I went to school for engineering for a while and play synthesizers. Since they are expensive I am starting to make my own. None of my inventions are very good yet, but its really fun to learn electronics and create tech (you could also make drones or whatever you wanted, its not as hard as it sounds.

#4 SPORTS,
I have never been into organized sports, but many of my friends love them, and I absolutely ADORE backpacking, canoeing, and mountaineering, and the great thing about sports is you get to meet cool people, buy cool stuff, and have adventures, you also get in super good shape if you get into it.

OTHER IDEAS
H
Study science if you're into it

Join a book club

Yoga and meditation are awesome (sorta a sport though)

Martial arts (sport again)

If your tinnitus ever lets up at all you could try learning a quiet instrument, like a kalimba with heavily padded mallets.

There's so much out there you can geek out on. I always thought people here are those types that would get into things quite deeply, and would easily get interested in various things. If I get bored of one thing, I get into mood on another, and it changes. It's not always audio or headphones.

One thing I wish I got into is photography (and cinematography) and get good at cooking (I find this to be useful and practical). There's so much out there to occupy your time.

I think the key is giving things a chance if you never tried it or familiar with it.

Something interesting that I've recently seen is Terry Crews somehow got interested in building computers, and that was through his son being interested PC gaming.

I would still listen to music but not with headphones since you have that medical problem.

Personally I would pursue listening to music on cheap decent quality small speakers at lower volumes. I grew up listening to a small cheap plastic boom box and it was great. I believe you can still enjoy music on Walmart quality gear. Audiophile gear is not what makes music great and enjoyable

I like playing online games a lot :D I often use some casinos online also which are really fun and interesting to play. I don't make much money there, I mostly do it just for fun, and I think it is a really cool way to relax in the evening. What do you think about it? Maybe you can share some games you enjoy the most here? That would be helpful
