I am looking for a new set of headphones. I'm new to headphones but want something that has good quality(great bass not needed) and will last. I prefer the circumaural(around the ear) type headphones. Basically, I want them to be very comfortable and block out some sound(closed headphones, not open). I will use them for gaming, music, and movies on my computer and not much travel. It shouldn't be a headset. And my budget is around $100...the less the better. Thanks for your help...I bet my question has been answered many times, but I just don't have time to look at every post on these forums and there's so many options. Thanks!!

AT A500/A700 ($90-120) or Beyerdynamic DT770Pro80's ($140)

Closed headphones are normally more expensive than open, so you'd get worse sound qaulity for a higher price if you go for closed.

The A500's are probably a good choice though.

Thanks guys for your recommendations...I think I'll go with the A500's. They look good for my needs.

One more thing: Is audiocube.com the best place to get these headphones(for price $89+ shipping)?
