So i think i finally got kernel streaming working in foobar. It will give me an error message if i use kernel streaming with a resampler. But if i remove the resampler from my DSP manager, i dont get an error and the track plays. Am I still not getting bit perfect sound? do i need to use a resampler? I have the SRC and SSRC resamplers, is there a different one i can use?

Well, I guess as the term resampler suggests the use of one will resample the original signal and the output would not be bit perfect.

You will want no DSP plug-ins whatsoever.

Usually depends on what the sound drivers can do. In many cases that is 48kHz only (based on AC97 hardware), so unless you're playing a 48kHz track, you'll get an error. If you include a resampler, then play a 44.1kHz (normal mp3) kernel streaming will work. You might have a card that natively does 44.1kHz, ie normally no resampler needed.
