Well guys...Anyone going to stop my Sabres this year? I can't see it

Lets have at it...

I think the Sabres will finally win the cup. I think they would have won it last year if they didn't have so many injuries. Plus I am still bitter about the "No Goal" controversy with Brett Hull having his foot in the crease years ago in the cup finals.

Though the NHL may not be the most enjoyable game all year round, or have the "talk" like other leagues, their playoffs, and playoff matchups, cant beat anyone else

Ottawa vs Pittsburgh and San Jose vs Anahiem, for FIRST ROUND matchups, is just pure greatness.
Sure, they aren't the best teams, BUT the two losers, could be in the Stanley Cup, and the shock would not be there.

Hell yes. These playoffs are going to be absolutely outstanding. So many great stories in the East, so many great matchups in the West. I seriously think every first round series in the West could go seven games. I can't wait.

GO WINGS!

San Jose (5) is playing Nashville (4) in the first round.

I'm a toronto fan, so you can imagine how I feel. New Jersey scoring with .9 seconds left in the game was one of the most magnificent things Ive seen in a hockey game.

ps. there are a lot of bandwagon fans here in vancouver for the canucks, which is part of the reason i dont support them.

Canucks fan here (not from BC and not a wagon jumper though...) Hopefully this year they can do some serious damage in the playoffs. I never had any faith in Dan Cloutier, but now...we have Loungo. Hopefully not having any playoff experience won't hurt him. I'm taking Buffalo to come out of the east and Vancouver (of course...) to come out of the west...
