Was searching for "pimeta" on ebay and it kept auto-loading "pieta". So I got a hundred religious statue auctions to sift through in an effort to find a headphone amp.

Is there any way to turn OFF this annoying feature?

What happened to the "No Items Found/Listed" page?
*edit*
tried the advanced search... to no avail.

after your normal search with the million results, look to the left. on that vertical bar are filters for categories. that's how i search Stax - type stax, then pick commerical electronics. that way all the STAX records and junk gets wiped!

Im using eBay in the UK and i get...

Your search using pimeta returned 0 results. This keyword has been replaced with pieta. Undo

Hit the 'undo' to show no results

If you're searching for something with a generic name but don't want to miss any deals by narrowing down using the categories on the left, use the minus operator in the search box. Example:

porcupine tree -absentia -deadwing

That would prevent PT albums I already own from being listed.

It is annoying but it will only auto-correct what it thinks it a mistake if there are no matches with the original spelling.

You could try goofbay.com, that is generally what I use (well, at least the .co.uk version) to find stuff
