He was a valued member of the Head-Fi family, and will be missed. Just think of it this way guys, only a few decades until the big Head-Fi meet in the sky. We will meet again Smokey.

Thanks for letting us know. Very sad indeed.
I think this is the only headfier who has passed away since I came here. I wonder if that's true?

Oh my goodness... I think I did some early trading with him here, possibly involving a Creek OBH-11 or Denon headphones (but I don't remember exactly). Pretty sure we exchanged gear at one point though, because I remember him mentioning his illness. My condolences to his family, very sorry for your loss.
