I would have but I found that IEMs generally don't fit me as I have very small ears. Thanks for the suggestions though![]()
I have small ears as well and had to learn how to find a good fit with IEMs. I first tried to insert the tips into my ear canal, but it's not just small but much higher than wide, so it's very uncomfortable to insert any IEM. I tried custom silicone tips, which helped but change the sound, and then learned to find tips that sit in my Concha and that works very well for me.
My favorites are now JVC HA-FD02 (modified) with JVC Spiral Dots MS size tips. Very good comfort, good seal and quite secure fit with the cable over the ear. My full size headphones are now getting very little use...
The Z1R was a surprise in terms of fit, beause it's a really big IEM, but still fit me well and comfortably. But I could maybe not use them on the move, they'd likely fall out all the time with their weight pulling on the tip. Tried them in a store in Japan, was a real WOW experience. Very powerful, big and detailed sound. Just not sure If I'd not prefer a more subtle tuning in the long run.
