Android phones and USB DACs

This one is over my budget.. Trying to find below £70 only

I have a Hifimediy U2 sabre dac (been using it for a few years off of my laptop) and it is great, but was a bit big to velcro to the back of my phone. I was going to get the Dragonfly for a change, but ended up getting the ZuperDAC (es9018k2m/es9601) for $75US. The thing sounds amazing. Highly recommended.

Guys please help with popping/clicking problem on my mobile rig.

My rig:
LG G3, Android 5.0 rooted, class 10 micro SD card
FLACs played by Onkyo HF Player
DAC is Chord Mojo

I am receiving significant pops/clicks when playing music although Mojo has asynchonous USB interface.
I have tried different OTG cables to remove the issue without success. Including Audioquest Jitterbug into OTG circuit makes no progress too.
It often helps to reset my phone, then cliks/pops are often reduced but not eliminated.

I don't know what to do to solve this... Help. I've been trying to search this topic but without success so I have no clue where to look next.

I had a similar issue with my HTC ONE M8. It could be too much for the CPU to handle.

Try this:
Go into your Developers' Menu (accessing it is slightly different for each phone),and turn on "High performance mode." This is kinda like over clocking your pc. Your phone's battery will suffer, and it will run hotter, but should solve your problem.

Hi

Your solution didn't help me directly (because LG has no such thing as high performance mode) but you have showed me where to look. Thank you for that :)

So, at least for now, what helped me for LG:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/mod-root-rid-lag-g3-t2819365
[you need to use both options: Temperature Property OFF and Thermal Daemon Mitigation OFF - changes as given in the link]. It seems like those are somehow connected to commanding CPU performance on LG phones, I can observe my battery suffering a little from that change.

I'm still testing and when I won't write here anymore about my issue you folks can consider aboove solution as valid for LG phones drops/pops/clicks problem.
