Chess Boxing!!!!

I love it, but if a real boxer entered the sport, you'd see the hole. Teach him how to fend off a good chess player for 1round of chess, then he'd KO someone in the first round of boxing and win every time. Not all that fun anymore...

Why do they have headphones? Do they cheat? If it's just the noise, come on the cheering is part of boxing.

If it can influence the judges in some match

It's only fair to let it interfere with the player concentration

Yeah, I can't imagine anyone with lesser boxing skills holding up in chess boxing especially given that each time you get punched in the head your ELO rating probably drops 100 points.

x2. This is played in several parts of Asia. Fascinating to watch, especially when you see it played on the street. I actually have one of the "balls". It is played on the street with bare feet. The rattan is bloody hard on a bare foot.
