Hi pple!

I'm looking for a pair of analytical IEM which is as good if not better than RE2. And, that is much more isolating than RE2. I'm currently using RE2 bi-flanged and feel that it's not isolating enough.

My budget is around US$70 max.

Pls recommend one which is gd. Thanks in advance!

Step up to the RE0 + Comply T400 foam tips. Isolation and details galore.

This is the ER-6i territory.

And if you're willing to stretch your budget by ~$20, the hf5 are right up your alley

In any case, go ety.

analytical iem under $100 that isolates well sounds like the ER6i to me. isolation is amazing on that iem. they go for around 60-70 so its right within your budget.

Another vote for the 6i. If you don't mind the hassle of an amp, however, the RE0 beats it.

Looks like ER6i has the most votes.

But how does ER6i compare to RE2 in terms of bass, clarity and flatness/fun-sounding? And if I use the foam tips which comes with ER6i and Fiio E5 amp, is the bass improvement noticeable?

Also given that ER6i is much more isolating, will its sound quality (clarity + bass) win RE2 in noisy environments?

The etys are closed IEMs, so they'll give much better sound in noisy environments.

Likely they'll sound very different. You should look at some reviews to get an idea of what the er6i is about.
