So, I'm going to a convention next month, and it's going to be very loud there. I have sensitive hearing, so those portions of it will be very uncomfortable for me without some sort of ear protection. Because it is a social event and not a workplace or something, the cord in the in ears will signal to other people that I can't hear them, so people won't walk up and talk to me without warning. I figure, "Hey, I'm into audio, I need this to go to this convention, I may as well take this as an oppritunity to get some decent IEM's!"

I have a budget of around $50 (which I can stretch a bit), and the main qualification is that the isolation has to be good enough to take the edge off of a loud environment. If they don't come with foam tips, I will by buying Comply tips for them. In regards to sound signatures, I like a wide variety. However, I do want something geared towards rock music, kinda like the Grado house sound (If that's attainable.) However, a more mellow sound would work too. Here are the one's that I'm looking at:

-thinksound rain (1)
-Soundmagic E10
-Brainwavz M9
-Vsonic VSD3/S
-Vsonic VSD5
-Meelectronic M6 Pro
-Hifiman RE-400 (If I can find a good deal, these are the ones. Simple as that.)

Which ones would work for me based on this? Do you have any other suggestions becides these?
