An IEM question

After reading through many pages, I've decided to purchase the Westone UM2's. But, Being so expensive ... Are these IEM's okay to use when exercising, or laying out in the sun?? Usually, my head/hair get fairly wet, when exercising. I would imagine, that the sweat also goes into the ear area.
Do you guys buy a "beater" pair of IEM's, for exercising, etc. and save the Westone's, for non sweat activities??

I use my westone for exersising somtimes,and they still sound sweet!
The thing is,when you laying in the sun,you don't notice them.I forget them,it just like the music is coming from your head and your are not wearing anything.

I tried using my e2c's at the gym and didn't find it to be a very comfortable experience, personally I'd go for something like the ksc75 to use at the gym (if I were going to wear cans while exercising) since they're quite cheap and give a pretty decent sound from all the praise i hear about them (I ordered them once but koss screwed up the order and I never bothered to try again)
