So let me start out by saying i'm not really a hardcore audiophile, so my knowledge of this stuff is a bit patchy. But is there a benefit to having an EQ program for iTunes? for instance, like SRSiWow. When i toggle it on and off, it sounds like its artificially some parts of the music and so it drowns out the others.

just wondering what your opinion on this is. thanks for the help.
