Psykosonik is a relatively unknown band, but they are one of the best techno bands I have ever heard (and I have heard a LOT). They are quite the opposite of many techno bands, meaning that their music is anything but repetitive. I find that they are one of the few techno bands which I can actually sit down and listen to, instead of have on as background music.

This group's songs are very hard to find on Kazaa, so if anyone wants to hear some of their songs, you can email or PM me and I'll email you some songs.

I own both of Psykosonik's CDs: Their first self-titled and the newer "Unlearn" album.

A great group indeed. They have a unique edge, perhaps due to the synthesizers they use or how they do their effects; but no group has sounded similar to them.

Definintely a worthwhile investment if you like electronic music.

Cheers,
Geek

--Thanks for the info! I like crystal method, propellerheads, and chemical brothers, but you are correct in asserting a lot of electronica is rundundant. This is a good find!

Scrypt, I didn't get any PM's from you. And what is this epistle box you speak of?

I just think they have a really keen sense for the pop "hook". Just really catchy songs.

Anyone know whatever happened to them?

Odd, because I catapulted one at you that brandished my e-mail address once it landed. Perhaps I deleted it from my own in-epistle-box before you'd actually received it.

I'd like to know what the artist(s) in question sound(s) like.

Why, your PM box, friend. I was simply dressing the thing up, which is the verbal equivalent of replacing your wallpaper with human hair, or performing so much reconstructive surgery on a naked mole rat that it begins to resemble Udo Kier.

By Psykosonik? Try "Unlearn", "Welcome to My Mind", "Silicon Jesus", "Ride". PS I like the first album better.

PS BT sucks. I used to like him, but after seeing him live, I've lost all respect for him. He did this same stupid "lift the keyboard, then drop it while holding a finger down on one note" thing at the end of every song.
