I'm looking for a Amveco PC mount transformer for a STEPS v1.2. The ones recommended on Tangent's site...part no. 70053, 70052, 70063, and 70062 are all out on Digikey's website and they wont have them in stock until second week of April. ANybody have a spare one or is there another Amveco I can use except those 4 listed?

Any transformer from 5VA to 25VA will work. You will have to do some planning and calculating to know what voltage and current rating you need. Some of the calculation is handled for you by my Power Supply Parameter Estimator. If you put obviously-bad values into the calculator, it will tell you, and you can use that feedback to choose a different transformer.
