I'll be receiving my HD595s on Saturday. I know an amp isn't REQUIRED for these phones, but I'd like to hear them with one. Before I buy a dedicated headphone amp, will a home stereo (Pioneer...unaware of model # at the moment) add anything to them or will it basically be the same as out of an iPod/laptop? What about the headphone out on my Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers?
One more question is is there a sound quality difference between a 1/8th" jack and a 1/4th" jack?
