Amp which convert SE in Balanced

out of my head now: zana deux, gs-x, wa22. if you include stats amp then kgss, bhse, wes. also the correct way to state it is not convert, is how many amps that can take balance input

I think he meant being able to plug unbalanced input like RCA's and having the sound coming out through balanced outputs such as XLR's.

WA22 can't. You need balanced input to have balanced out.

ok, but whats the point of having balanced then ? Or this is just a rhetorical question?

The GSX does not have a phase splitter in it so it does not do any conversion of SE to balanced.

TTVJ 307a converts balanced inputs to SE.

Raven does it.

I doubt anyone cares, but the Melos SHA-gold converts SE inputs to balanced preamp outputs. The original schematic for the amplifier has balanced inputs indicated. The headphone amp is single ended, as was in vogue at the time.
