Ok thank you, I hadn't looked at used prices. I prefer to buy stuff like this new so as not to potentially suffer from warranty woes. But that does come at a cost of course.

Have you tried the TH-900 with the G109 amp?

I tried the g109 with the lcd3 and didn't like at all.sold immediately
The v200 also
Maybe some little valves?

That's interesting. Many say that Lake People/Violectric products match very well with the TH-900. Probably gonna end up ordering the G109 from Thomann and take advantage of the 28 day return option if I end up not liking it.

I'm using the TH900 with the v200 right now, and REALLY enjoying it. I'm picking up some interesting new details that I wasn't getting on my other amp (MAC 1900).
I think the music has a liveliness it didn't have before as well.
I'm noticing the bass is a bit more full as well, and the vocals moved forward just a bit. I think these last two things are unique to the v200 though, as the other designs are supposed to be more reference, and neutral.
