I'm wondering how you guys run your amps, I currently run my headroom little directly into my sony cd/dvd player, thus bypassing my pioneer receiver. will running the amp to the receiver make much of a difference or is running the amp directly from the source the way to go?

I have an opinion on the matter, but try both ways and tell us what you hear first.

I'd say a combination of the above two posts. Theoretically, the fewer the components, the better. If you don't hear a difference, however, then I guess it doesn't matter.

I'm also starting to form an opinion, but it's not the one I would have had a month ago. I'm awaiting delivery of something I bought to test my hypothesis...I'll post when my opinion gels into something solid.
