Hello lovely people,
I' m looking for an amp or dac&amp combo under 500$, my first thought was the Jotunheim but now I'm not sure anymore. My conditions are something powerful (so that I don't have to buy a new one when I want to drive something insensitive), very detailed (no tubes), and clear. What I heard is that the Jotunheim is powerful and clear, but not very detailed. So I ask you guys if you have some better alternatives for me in this price range. If you recommend me an amp only, I would buy an SMSL su8 as a DAC (the price of the smls is not included in the budget of only the amp).

I wouldnt buy anything from audio GD, customer service ive heard isnt great. so if something happens.... good luck.

Other audio fan sites. They dont complain on the product so much, more on customer service.
