Hello,
I've just bought a DT880 edition 2005 (250 ohms) and I think I need an amp to drive it well, but I'm a newbie and I'm looking for low budget amp (tube prefered...

) to connect my soundcard or my CD player.

I've seen Little Dot amps, but there are so many versions...... I don't know the differences.... can you help me ???
Is it an obligation to have a DAC ?
What do you think about a combo like Trends Audio UD-10 ?

all your advice will be useful !!!

DAc is not obligatory but it will defo increase sound quality
LD amps are great, I have one. good bang for the buck

Yep I quite like my setup. Note though that I too am still a noob in that I haven't listened to many other things. Tubes, DacMagic and DT880 is a match made in heaven to my ears.

The DAC made a good difference imo. I went from my X-FI to the DacMagic and the difference was pretty big. Suddenly the music is music. The X-FI has a tendency to produce very detailed, digital-sounding sound and a proper DAC will give you that analogue sound you like so much.

what about the iBasso D10 Cobra ???
do you think it's strong enough to drive my DT880/250 ?
it seems to be a very good DAC/Amp with lots of inputs....
can anyone tell me if the combination is good ?
