Lately, I've been using my Ultrasone-2400 by plugging it directly into my computer and using the onboard sound card. Since I have just started audiophilia as a hobby, my ears untrained, but even then I can tell that the Ultrasones aren't being used to their full potential. Any recommendations for Amps/DAC's to boost the performance of these headphones?

I have the same question. Also, do you notice any sibilance? or bright hissing whenever s ch sh word comes up? I am no audiophile...i can't tell if this is normal or not...

I'm getting a lot of sibilance as well, and on youtube the hissing almost drives me crazy

UHMM. stay away from tube amps and the 2400's any of the FIIO's will do (E11, even E6 on the go)

Although i use a tube amp because its all i have atm, i would stick to solid state
