I'm not quite sure, but I don't remember the prelude offering true line-out.
However, the amplification on the prelude is already pretty good for a sound card, and the hd595's aren't the most demanding of headphones.
If I were you, my next upgrade would be headphones, followed by a dedicated amp and dac.
