I just purchased the Senn HD580s and I'm looking to purchase some amplification for these as soon as possible. I'm looking into the Headsave Go-Vibe, as I have heard some good things about it lately on this board. I was also looking into the Xin Supermini as it looks quite good as well, but I am leaning toward the Headsave due to the price. Any suggestions or comments on these amps or others to power the 580's?

I really like the $65 price tag on the Headsave, and I think the Xin Supermini is around $115...So somewhere in that range is optimal, I dont think I'll go over $115 or so.

Go-vibe was very good in my humble opinion with HD600/HD650 so I'm guessing it should work fine with HD580. I was surprised by its price tag and size

However classic with 24V power supply may be even better to bring out the most from HD580, but it does go over your budget

Same boat, looking for a portable amp. I'm in Princeton too, Mike B06; what do you do here may I ask?

I'm a student and football player at Princeton. I'm just looking for an open air alternative to my Etys for our roadtrips this year as well as around my dorm and on campus for schoolwork. I just sold my HD280 Pros to a friend here in favor of the comfort and awesome soundstage the 580's provide, so I'm trying to get the most out of them with a good amp I can easily tote around with my portable stuff. What brings you to this nice little nook in NJ?
