I don't know much of anything about amps, and I don't want to spend more then 100$, but I want to get the most out of the Dt 770s I am about to buy. I have looked around, and the JDS cmoy looks good, as well as the fiio e11. I then came across this one (http://www.ebay.com/itm/170846899329ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1952.l2649#ht_3189wt_1396 ). How does this Ra-1 amp compare to other amps within this price range? I like that it is rechargeable and can run off wall power so I shouldn't have any problem running out of juice. I assume that with a higher quality op amp (RA-1), the sound quality would be better but I really don't know.

I apologize for my ignorance ahead of time because I really have no knowledge when it comes to this stuff. I just want the DT 770s to run at their best, within reasonable price.

I'm guessing all the amps listed will drive the DT770 Pro 80-Ohm about the same.

For a low impedance (<= 80 Ohm) headphone, I would get the E11 over the CMoyBB, while the 18V version of the latter is better for 300-600 Ohm. In the RA1 CMoy, I do not recommend replacing the 4556 op-amp, it is one of the best chips for driving low impedance headphones, and is also used (2 parallel ICs) in the buffer stage of the O2.
