Hi ! I've recently bought the AudioTechnicha ATH-900 , and they are on their way from the US ( Audiocubes .. Duh! ) to my place ( Israel ..

) .

I wanted to build an amp ( by myself ofcourse ) for these headphones , but I know **** about amps , and specialy "DIY" ones . I only heared and saw one amp , the CMoy , but I have no clue if it "fits" to the ATH900 , or if he's any good .

I'm looking for links to amps building guides , schems , and some recomendation about good DIY amps for these headphones .

Thanks alot in advanced , Tom .

Isn't Audiocubes stock is in the US ( I know Audio Technicha is made and sold only in Japan ) ?

I'm willing to spend about 100$ ..

Wow , I dont know where to start .

I saw Tangent's site couple of times ago , and read some of his guides . The problem is - I know nothing about electronics . I saw that there are some required parts , and some optional that need to be picked by the headphones you own ( or whatever .. :/ ) .

Can someone help me with the Part Selection Guide ?

Thanks alot !

you might want to go the pre-built route, and buy a MINT already made. JMT sells a MINT amp for $90 US. Check out JMT

I'd say start with a cmoy if you don't have any DIY experience. It's a bit simpler than the mint and Tangent's cmoy guide offers more hand-holding advice and step-by-step procedures for first timers.

I think also you'd get more help here if you can come up with some more specific questions rather than just a general plea for help.

Its pretty hard for me to ask spesific questions , because as I've said befor , I know nothing about amps . So I ask the general questions , and as I get the general answers , I try to be as spesific as I can ..

Thanks anyhow !
