Now looking at:

Headamp Gilmore Lite (Need to be imported, and taxes)

Lake People G100 (Pro amp with not much reviews, but specs and internal looks superior to Gilmore Lite, mostly the power supply looks better)

No tube amps please, tried too many and none sound well with it. Best sounding I tried is Luxman P1 but too pricey.

Any recommendations welcomed.

Exactly what I'm listening to at the moment and couldn't agree more.

Haven't really heard the AD2000 on another amp. Tend to agree that either the Headamp Gilmore Lite or Eddie Current ECSS are worth looking at in the $500 range. I don't know anything about the Lake People amps. However, I think you will find both of these to be neutral and the AD2000 should deliver whatever your source can reveal.

Happy listening

I really liked the Darkvoice 337 with my AD2000, but it was using really expensive tubes.

I'm using a Stello HP100 with my AD2000 and it's great, but I prefer the Rudistor NX-03 when I had the opportunity to try it.

TBH, I tried a Darkvoice 337 and it really sounded bad with the AD2000. SS sounds better on it, tubes makes it sound too much like HD650.

Anymore takers?

Any chance to try the amps popular for Audio Technica? That is, AT's own HA5000, Yamamoto HA2, Higher Fidelity HA-01 and G&W AT-F100.
