amp for $250 new/used HD600 + EMU 0404

I"m getting a pair of HD600 and Emu0404. I know amps are important but at the same time I have a limited budget. maybe CORDA HA-1 MkII (definetly used ) is there anything better in that price range? Gilmore lite ? Pimeta. I kinda want Corda for its design. Any suggestions?

Gilmore lite or a Mg-head OTL w/ upgraded tubes are some good amps. Just some suggestions.

personally, between the pimeta and the corda, definately the corda. if senns only setup then i'd take the corda over the gilmore.. if there's grados..then i'd lean more towards the gilmore.

I've read posts about Headsave Classic being a good enough amp for HD600 / HD650.. I listent to Rock/ Trance / Acuostic... dont like the heavy bass , but the more trancy sound. Not look for heavy bass, just tight bass.
