I am basically just looking for an amp and a DAC (or a combined amp/dac) for $130 or less.  The SoundMAGIC is a "portable" 32 Ohm headphone, but it supposedly responds very well to amping.  I'd like the combo to be either neutral or slightly warm.  Soundstage and transparency should be noticeably improved, and hiss and distortion removed.
 
I couldn't care less about portability.
 
Right now I am looking at the HRT HeadStreamer but I haven't put too much research into it and am open to suggestions.

I'm have the same question.  Based on a previous response apparently the fiio e11 works well with the hp100's.

I've seen it paired with the Arcam rPAC but its way over your stated budget.

A little late but I got the Headstreamer used off that auction site for my HP 100 and am very pleased. I use it with my Mac and its great. Just better all around sound. More detail, wider soundstage, better imaging better bass. It has no problem with making bass tighter and harder hitting and less soft. For the money it was a great upgrade. This combo of headphones and DAC/Amp is great in my experiance. While the Soundmagics don't need extra power, I feel a little more definately helps drive them.
