I am looking for a full size headphone AMP/DAC for my DT990s.  I currently have a FiiO E17 but am looking for a full-size amp I can keep at my desk.  My budget is around $500.  I've read some nice things about the O2 + ODAC combo but have never heard it or know if it would be a good match.  I listen to music mainly on my Macbook Pro.  I listen to rock, county, jazz, and some popular music.  I don't listen to classical to often unless I am studying some new material and need to concentrate.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

For the amount of money your willing to spend for a DAC/Amp, You might consider upgrading from the DT990 headphones.
Audio Technica makes some nice headphones (ATH-W1000W) that are only 40-Ohms, very easy for the E17 to drive them.
There are also some Philips models (Fidelio) that are only 30-Ohms.

I just got the DT990 Pros a few weeks ago so swapping them out is not an option.  I like how they sound and enjoy the open style.  I already have a pair of closed headphones that are 32 Ohm.

Thanks!

Interesting.  I've never heard of this company.  I'll look into it further.

I received audio GD 11.32 yesterday. I have been listening music all night from HE 400 paired with 11.32.
