noob here so not too sure where this is meant to go but ah wells,
anyway wondering if you guys could help me in finding a compact way of upscaling video to 1080p over hdmi from other sources as well as have a good dac onboard so i can get rid of my beresford. (love the inbuilt switcher)
ive checked out the onkyo nr1000

but thats really too overkill, in size and amount of inputs, i wouldnt even use half that many inputs, and since I already have an at h5000 amp, ill be only using the preouts anyway and it'll need to fall under a 2k budget.
im guessing a preamp is the most desirable choice but do any come with the upscaling function?
