Amp Beyer DT250-80's

Hello. I origionally asked this in the headphone section, and realized this would be the better place for it.
I just bought a pair of DT250-80's, which are my first set of nice cans. I primarily will use these with my computer. I selected these due to the reviews of their type of sound, and the fact that they would play well without an amp. So far I am very happy with their sound.
But now I've got the bug, and am wondering how much difference an amp will make with these, since they are fairly efficient.
I was looking at possibly of a used Corda HA-1, or Creek OBH-11, but I am open to suggestions. I won't be using it portably very often, so it can be a home unit. Any other DT250 owners have a preference? Would crossfeed sound well with these?
If I get it, I would expect a pretty big sound difference. At this point, being a n00b, minute changes in sound aren't worth it to me, unless it's an inexpsenive amp.
Thanks for the help!

the cheapest way to check (without spending money) would be for you to connect your soundcard to your receiver. If you can discern an appreciable improvement, chances are that it will sound 10 times better with a headphone amp.

Reportedly the Beyer 250-80 has a slightly warm sound, so you might find that a Meta42 with an AD8620 op-amp (which has a sound which slightly emphasizes the mids and highs without sacrificing bass) would be a good match.

I have a pair of Beyer 250-250s on order. I'll post impressions of them with a Meta42, Pete Millett hybrid, and MG Head once they arrive.
