Ambient Music

Well, kind sir, excuse me for being so dumb and not knowing what I'm searching for and not even knowing what examples should i give... oh well. Thank you for your suggestion, that sounds just a bit too plain for me, so I will keep on searching.

Plain? Whatever, man. You just sounded confused asking for music with rhythm on an ambient music board. None of the vids you posted are ambient. Why don't you try one of the electronic music threads instead?

anyone listens to stuff like this ? and has some other recommendation ? :)

stuff with some rhythm in it, not just plain freaky sounds like you creepy things are listening

I would recommend listening to music on the Echospace label and also the Ultimae label (like some of the stuff you referenced). Lots of deep bass and rhythm in there. Check out their Bandcamp pages.

I listened to those and liked the Hoedh and Caretaker albums.  What else can you recommend?  I tend to like ambient that is dark/mysterious/scary in some way.  Also how did you discover those albums/artists in the first place?  What resources would you suggest for finding new ambient music like that?

I think the best recommendation I can give you for finding music similar to what you describe is this list created by the user Wilczur on rateyourmusic

This is a quality list of amazing ambient albums that fall into the dark side of the genre. There are many releases which are not purely "ambient" and contain other sub-genres though, but he does a superb job listing all the information for every album. Once you find something you like you can go to that albums main page and see what lists that specific release is in and what other similar music people recommend. That is how you can find some really new interesting music! Hope this helps you out a bit. Happy listening
