So I just barely missed the Fidelio X2 deal and spent the rest of the day scanning for headphones. I passed on the Philips M2 and later the NC1, and ended up getting the B&W P5 at $170-ish. I'm now wondering what I was thinking and if I shouldn't just return them. I already have a Sennheiser 598 for home and an AKG 7xx at the office, and travel with a Bose QC 15 (why I didn't get the NC1) and an ATH-m50.
Not sure what the P5's do better than any of the ones I have. I guess they could become my travel headphones. Anyone have any experience with these? How do they compare with any of the above? What was I thinking?
