i doubt there will be much demand, i am impressed that a company is willing to develop and release a new cassette deck, apparently it has digital output for transfer to modern formats, the S/N ratio is low, probably sound impressive for a cassette, but poor compare to today's standard, probably even spotify will sound superior to this

I am actually looking for portable cassette player just for fun. Just wondering would there be any noticeable difference in sound quality with different cassette player.

I may be wrong but Teac seems to be hearing the audiophile customer. Headphone amps, tabletop dacs, and now this. Color me impressed. And their stuff is usually pretty good. No junk. With interest in retro stuff like tube amps and old receivers I think this was a smart move.

I have some old Jethro Tull and Jimi Hendrix 8-track tapes, come on TEAC, where's the love? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Sounds like somebody needs a 1969 Pontiac GTO
