Greetings, although this is my first post, this forum has already made significant dents in my wallet.  I would love some advise on purchasing a new set on phones.  I currently own the Miles Davis Tributes, Monster Coppers, UE Triple fi 10's and Velodyne Vpluses. I listen to FLAC and Apple Lossless files  through a macbook pro and dragonfly or iphone 5 and fiio e11. I listen to acoustic and electric jazz(miles, weather report), classical(classical guitar, orchestra/choral), classic rock(dylan, beatles)  and 70's soul/funk.  I am looking for phones with good soundstage and great bass. I am considering:

Hifiman HE-400
Sennheiser HD650
Philips Fidelio X1
AKG K267

Any suggestions regarding which of these might suit me best, or are there other headphones I should be considering.

Thanks in advance

It all comes to your preferences. Which kind of sound so you want, what do you listen to?

If the HE-400 has soundstage anything like the HE-500 then I would go for that.
I havn't heard the 400, but the 500 had one of the best soundstages I've ever heard.

Yeah, for jazz and classical I just barely prefer the HD650 most of the time. Plus, it's more comfortable.

Harder to drive, though...

The HE-400 improves more with proper amping than the dt-880 from my experience. With proper amping, the HE-400 has rock solid and still precise bass extending very well. I just miss the highs a bit.
