Hey all,

I'm real big on getting decent IE headphones with as good sound quality as I can get for around $100-150. It'd be great too if they had a mic/audio control on the cable. (Wish I could do on/over ear but I wear glasses and they are just too uncomfortable.)

In the past I've used Shures, Sennheisers, Klipschs and ThinkSounds. I was using ThinkSound for the past couple years but I use them all day every day and the metal piece kept separating from the wooden base on the bud itself. Time for me to try something new.

On top of all that - I now have an iPhone 8 and I'm figuring I should just go wireless instead of dealing with a Thunderbolt audio adapter all day long.

Because of all that I went for the Bose SoundSport Wireless and I am loving the sound quality and the wireless connectivity.

Howeverrrr.... I need more sound isolation. I ride the subway every day, walk noisy streets and I really want to be able to drown it all out and not crank up the volume (I'm at like, the second highest volume level on the SoundSports...) With the ThinkSounds I could use the smallest bud size and really seal out sound. That's the other thing - I have small ear canals and I think the SoundSport's aren't sealing out as much noise because the smallest size isn't able to really sit in my ear canal.

ALL OF THIS TO SAY... what would you recommend for someone who is looking for:

1. In-ear (range of bud sizes)
2. Noise isolating (use mainly when walking the city, riding the subway...)
3. Better than average sound quality
4. Wireless connectivity
5. $100-150
6. Bonus if it has mic/audio cable control
7. I really really do not like the whole look of the neckband on a lot of wireless earbuds. I'm just being ridiculously picky at this point but for something I wear for 2/3 of my day? I gotta love it. (Yes, 2/3 - I wear them at work too.)

I'm not picky about brands - I actually had a bit of a problem going with Bose because I feel they're overrated but I digress..

Any recs are appreciated!
